Placebo You don't care about us
This song is about people not caring about someone the video is set in a aquamarine with the first shots being with young child looking into a fish tank with fish being eaten by sharks it has close up of the kids with them smiling.this close up in this way has been used to create discomfit and sight shock for the viewer this aided by the the child wearing school uniforms this is to created with the use of child to create a  juxtaposition of the young child being a image of school age innocence smiling at the horror of the fish being eaten the next scene is with the singer of the band singeing to the track with lip scycning.the next scenes are the singer to get out of the room this supports the theme of the song of entrapment and being lose and not care about.the scene follows onto the singer being dragged away with flashes of the smiling child to create a feeling of unease for the viewer it then follows onto the singer being throw into the tank along with the other band members with flash backs to the smiling children to further aid the unease juxtaposition being created, there is a scene in which a fish is being cut up with smaller fish being in the fish this is it to represent the insufficient theme.

the whole video throughout is filmed with quick cut shots and close up shots which quickly cut back to long shots this creates a unease feeling throughout and is used to aid the despair and lost feeling which is the theme of the song and the use of shots portrays this theme.the outfits the band are all black and dark this is in contacts to the men in dress in yellow apparels whom throw the band members in the fish tank  this  colour psychology is used to show the despair dark nature of the song and the men in yellow are to show clinical and to show these men as the dominance people

The 1975 Girls

The song is a pop like song  from a indie band, which is played on though this video with the band trying to make a video but it keeps revering back to the pop video stereotypes such as skinny girls wearing little clothing and bights colour's with a montage of the
lyrics with in this video with flowers and cars with girls in a tongue in cheek way.

The opening up scenes with the opening guitar plays features a close up of the bands guitar playing followed by lip sccying of the band singing using a fast cut shot and a close up, the shot cuts quickly cutting from one scene too the next with a absence of a fade to fit the shot
the lighting throughout is bight the lighting would of been behind the camera with the camera front facing onto the band on a front position

the shots of the band's singer Matthew Healy singing the word's is a close up shoot with lip syncing the
scene is played out latter in video with a female singing some lyrics, the lyrics switching between the male and female with a close up shoot of them both switching between the female font facing with the female on the side, with the two switching place's,this has been shot's of footage then the two has been editing into one long clip with seamless editing
the shot's of the band's playing are switched to the female's playing with the same scene  as before with the backdrop and prop's so it look's like the band has been replace this one of been one continuous shot.

the use of yellow in the back ground is colour psychology in represent summer and happiness in contrast to the singer whom has no emotion face and does not smile, this is the continuous theme of the band being unhappy with the video which is been played out there is bright colours throughout to enforce the pop video theme
the use of pop art is use to aid the juxtaposition between the band and the pop video.
the band's love and influence of 80's pop is show throughout with bright lip stick and a scene with changing cigarettes and the bight colours throughout is reference to 80's pop stye as well as playing on colour psychology and emphasising the pop video theme.
the use of neon's also is a reference to 80's pop and continues the bight colour theme to create a pop video theme.

Blink-182 always

the video is about missing someone, it is filmed using three spilt video this style of music video has been used several time's before in the music video industry examples include "doo wop" by Lauryn hill and "sugar water" by Cibo Matto, this style of video was created using an optical printer to combine two or more action's filmed separately by coping them onto the same negative called the composite with the arrival digital technology this process has been made a easier and with various software used to create this style which is illustrated below.Blink 182 used this effect to convey the emotion's this girl and how how she has rejected many guy's all treated the same and feeling and emotions is a universal feeling.

song is about wanting someone but being reject this is reflected in the lyrics "let me hold you touch you  "
the outfits of band is to create to a dark emotion is typical of the "emo pop-rock" genre using cut back the band playing a typical theme throughout this genre
for the fan's of blink 182 this song and the self titled of which it came off marked a different change of style for blink 182 which was know for toilet humour and pop-punk fast pace song's usually about teenage prank's,party's blink 182 with this song/album moved blink 182 into dark emotion song writing about love, lost and hope.
This is illustrated in the pictures below with the style change of the band with dark clothing and change of image to a much darker and emotion look
.the pop-punk genre was a big movement in the music industry with band's like fall out boy sum 41 leading the movement theses band's also moved into dark and emotion song writing after this album (2003).this song define's many stereotypes of the genre which has many name's such as emo,pop-rock,alt rock with dark clothing, long black fringe's and piercing and tattoo many of these's stereotypes can come under the umbral of  the whole pop-rock genre but commonly under this genre.
